Parimiters
Phillips 400,
1.2 wire,
argoshield heavy 20%Co2
37 Volts OCV
290 ipm
1" weld with kemppi 500 set to A/C
175 7018 4mm root
followed with 2*210amp 5mm 6018
This is another lump of the dockside trailers, one end conects to the drawbar the other to a slew ring the pins in the middle are to steer the opposing end of the wagon.
this ones in a sorry state the only piece to stay is the steering lump and the top plate I will remake the axel boxs to save time.
First job make new axel plates drilled then welded to a 1" packer plate a 7018 root with a couple of 5mm passes.
I make a new frame I have doubled the original wt from 6mm to 12mm. the axel boxes are then jigged to the steering bar to get all dimmensions correct.
Almost welded up note the curve in the axel plates from Heat destortion i think the root was ran a bit hot.
Welded to its other half, It now weighs the best part of a ton, when i was puting the ID no on my gas was running low note the blacking around it, at six oclock I just couldnt be bothered to change for a number!!!!!.
