Tube expander

Hi
I would like to have your comments and recommendations about tube expanding tools used in the industry of heat exchangers manufacturing.
I'm facing quite a big project of heat exchangers and I would like to hear
your opinion/experiance regarding expanding the tubes.

Not that I can help, but more info is required. Type of metal, Size of pipe etc.

You can get everything from tapered pins you hit in, to Hydraulic mandrels

I re-tubed my traction engine a few years ago with a tube expander from wicksteed engineering ltd, hove road,rushden,northants nn10 0jb tel 01933318555. they specialise in the manufacture of tube expanders, made a good job too, with no welsh vegetables to be seen & passed hydraulic a few weeks later.
