Yes....lolNup - just trunking.
Screwfix do it at what seems a reasonable price; http://www.screwfix.com/c/electrica...cm_sp=managedredirect-_-electrical-_-trunking
I take it that you've considered and discounted chasing into the concrete / wall and making good?
I want to run a ring main round the roof. 9 metres x 3 metres with drop down electric sockets.Yes....lol
I am thinking of using this stuff for my garage circuits http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p19466?table=no
I looked at that but i really would like square as its also something to seal against and make the roof board edges neat and tidy. The square stuff is stupid money compared to the round stuff.I am thinking of using this stuff for my garage circuits http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p19466?table=no
Its also something to seal against and make the roof board edges neat and tidy. and keeping the wall as flat as possible for shelving etc.Hello U.K. Racer,
why run it round the roof? It's more efficient just running round at socket level, and as suggested conduit will be better. Trunking is fine for multiple circuits but for just the one, conduit is the way to go and very quick using plastic, no threading as with metal. If your 32 amp is going to be in a similar level as your sockets, use 25mm conduit you can run the two circuits together.

As dobbslc says, the ends you'll want to use with the patresses won't fit that stuff. The proper conduit from the same place is the same price (well a tiny bit cheaper) but you need to buy more - http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Electrical/d190/Conduit+&+Trunking/sd2743/PVC+Round+Conduit/p36467I am thinking of using this stuff for my garage circuits http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p19466?table=no
You got any pics of your kent? You can get sheathed cable or even swa could work out quicker and less messy
I have high level sockets now without conduit 32 amp is on straight arctic blue sockets on sheathed all input to board is swa
I simply love roof height plug in now

I will look into that one. Cant see any on ebay to compare thoughHow about using lighting trunking?, cheaper than standard trunking as it's a lighter gauge but would be OK for your application - example try local wholesalers, Neweys, CEF, Edmundson etc.
Drops to sockets in plastic or steel conduit.
I am trying to imagine what you describe but I cant imagine double sockets in the screwfix trunking I have seen...It seems too small.I have the screwfiw trunking along one wall with sockets built in and wall lighting wired off the trunking. I have plenty of double sockets along the wall in the trunking and three strip lights running off. The ceiling lights are just run in the ceiling cavity.
If it helps can take a couple of pics and post later?
