I have been asked to make a 2m tall trumpet player, a sculpture with life and movement.
For me there is only one trumpet player. A certain Miles Davis, so I based the sculpture on the classic photo of Miles up on tippy toes blowing his lungs out.
I was peased when he stood on his tiptoes and stayed up unsupported before I stuck him on his plinth.
Also pleased with the way I managed to get him looking more muscular and flowing like in the original picture.
Last shot shows his hands and weapon.

Not meaning to criticise,
but that just draws the attention a tad.
Your ability to look at a photograph then make a 3d model of it is something I could never do
