Triumph Factory exhibition

Had a trip to the Triumph factory in Nuneaton this week. There's a factory tour at £30, which is booked up well in advance so we didn't do that, but a free exhibition and a cafe that's open.

Have to say, the free exhibition is really good. Maybe 50+ bikes? Lots of early ones, then a range from the Triumph back catalogue, ending with several movie bikes - Terminator 2, Great Escape, Jurassic World, then upstairs a display on how the new Rocket 3 bike was designed and developed.

Cafe is nice, tea £2.30, coffee £3. Shop has lots of t shirts etc but prices are eye wateringly punitive at £30-50. Free car park.

Only complaint really is that as with many of these exhibitions it's in a darkened room. Nice morning out though and good for a freebie.

Yes the tour is worth it, very interesting.

darkened room eh...is that so u dont see the oil stained floor......
the only Triumph I'd own now.....and had a few over the years

Triumph 6/1? If so, there is one in my wife's cousins garage just a mile from me. it was her grandparents garage, bike left there in the 60s by a family friend, long since departed. When I retire, I may see about taking it on.

Quite a few racing bikes, though their significance was lost on me as I don't follow bike racing. Will look into booking the factory tour early next time we are over that way.
