Treadmill error code 3

Got a York fitness treadmill but after ten seconds moving error 3 starts displaying any 1 have any ideas help much appreciated

According to google, it’s something to do with a speed sensor on the front roller.

Probably full of fluff or out of alignment.

beaten to it


try blowing with air compresser might shift it

My treadmill runs for 10 seconds then it stops, There is nothing wrong with it i just find thats the ideal point to stop for a food break.

Thanks gave it a clean adjusted the sensor but still nothing probs scrap

Some people can do 100 yards in that time.

looking on line you need only a small gap look on line if its just out side this will not work

I have a mate with a small treadmill that has seen better days but it works, I had a mad idea of making it into a huge sander, I have seen industrial sanding belts at a place..Is it just me?

I Bypassed the sensor altogether and also still the same just decided to get rid. I do like the idea of a sander tho
