Need to improve my hoisting facilities,currently I have several runways,but at least one pair of them , I want to install a travelling runway,spanning under the pair,centres are approximately 6m,so do i need two geared trollies,linked with a driveshaft,so it can be operated by one person,without the underside runway going skewed? Thanks.

full length either side controlled by a bar either side of a motor turning a gear on either end so it screws up at the same time
while the trollies roll along there tracks

I’m planning to build something like that with two geared beam trolleys with link bar
Definitely cheapest solution. Only thing stopping me is time and I haven’t used my big lathe in a year
