Transtig 201is pedal ??????

I've been hankering after an ac /dc for a while and the above machine has come up fairly local to me at about my price. From the few posts on hear them sem a well regarded machine even though on the older side now , my question is I would want to add a pedal to whatever machine I buy so would a SSC or other pedal be able to configured to this or would I be looking for the proverbial unicorn poo pedal , if the later applies I think i'll pass on it . TIA for any help.

Well I now acquired the murex 201is I had a bit of a search in the manual and it states the pedal code as FC-5B and Ive found on line a new esab pedal
code FC- 5C could anyone confirm whether or not this would fit the Murex . Anyone with knowledge of cross matching esab/ murex codes

Well a bit further on murex list a FC-5B and esab list an FC-5C and FC-5B both on a 14 pin plug if I'm correct, now on SSC's site they list a C-860 1430 as the pedal that replaces either of these pedals , so is there any difference between the 5B and 5C . Were the murex and esab from another maker and rebranded
So far no help or replies ! Am I in the wrong section ? Maybe I should drop @Tom Orrow L msg and see if the SSC pedal is the correct one I need and if its availible .

I once fitted a pedal (Gessmann made) for the Stel tig up 353, which should have the same interface as yours.

Would I be correct in saying the Transtig 201is is a rebranded Stel machine I'm not having any luck with info on a pedal for it !!!!!!!!!!!!!.

yes, it´s a rebranded Stel machine.
Here is a PDF of the Stel manual.

In the Murex manual I allready send is the information you need to fit a pedal to the machine.
You will find the information you need in the Stel manual too.

@brockenhammer thanks for that I did see your post for the murex manual I already had it , I have a model no for an SSC pedal that replaces the both fc-5b and fc-5c so my thing is they are the same pedal . my real Question is
are the murex FC-5B and esab FC-5C pedals the same ? I cant get the murex however I can obtain an esab one . I just wanted to be sure before I lashed out £200 . I've searched lots of posts on her and even found one of your old posts for the wiring diagram for the stel pedal.

The stel manual is for the 3 phase machines and a little different 3pin torch trigger ( 2pin murex ) and 10 pin remote socket ( 14 pin murex ) the stel manual gives the pin postions/ function but murex manual gives no info on the remote socket other than the pedal no FC-5B.

Well I got an esab FC-5C pedal , so I'm hoping it's the same as the murex FC-5B as I havn't found a wiring diagram for the murex pedal yet .
