I've kept this spending spree in check over the years by having a few different size bits of Silver Steel turned to a point, heat treated then ground sharp and turn up stepped bushes to the hole size reamed to accept the punches. Another dodge I have used is to grind old drill bits to a point but for me the workaround used has always depended on the accuracy required for the job.I've mm/imp and want a letter set.

Get yourself a set of Zeus tables,they're all listed,together with screw threads and tapping drillsizes.what is the deal with the 'letter' and the 'number' set? what sizes are they? I actually have a job on the horizon that transfer punches would be ideal for so don't mind the spend.
