Tractor design in electric gates?

Next project is a set of electric gates, 24' but made to look like 2x12'.
I have a pair of steel wheels from an old corn drill, 3' diameter, and could probably get a few smaller ones.
Would it look corny to have a tractor and trailer design in the gates or 2 tractors back to back?
Farm is a small scale nowadays really but don't want to make gate all fleur-de-lys and gold leaf etc?

Has anyone any ideas?

Will direct the wife in your direction! There's a bloke near me on here that has made birds and the like out of round bar his album has a few photos something like that with some real wheels would look good don't forget a few puffs from the exhaust to give the impression of movement

It's a Ford, there will need to be several scrollwork clouds!

Think I would mirror the tractor on both gates, more shape than a trailer...don't forget a nice project post with plenty of pictures for us to enjoy.

If you do a ford, dont forget the rust holes on the rear arches!

You could make it so there is a flashing light on the cab that works when the gate moves

ou could perhaps include some of this around the edges, and to give some support across the structure.

You have to watch out for elements that are not supported to the edge as they easily get bent.
Maybe a cheesy 1930's style sunrise across a ploughed field with tractor proudly in the middle.
