short story....
my daughter is travelling Ozz in her 2002 Hi Ace camper van, alone......
yesterday she hit a biggish roo, luckily the van has a big tough roo bar.....only a few broken lights.....
anyway......
this morn at 4 am she phones to say it wont start.......
after trouble shooting we found a broken wire......once connected the engine started....it looks that sometime in the past it's had a dodgy repair plus the insulator is rotten....old age and engine heat....
so taped it up and she's on her way.......
BUT what is this thing the wire is connected......it looks like a big condencer to me but it's electronic ign.....
I have looked on line but nothing jumps out....
she willl get it replaced at Toyota as soon as she crosses the desert again, in the next big town....
any idea's pls......thanks...
