Toyota Granvia pains

I have a 96 Toyota Granvia pretty much a people carrier version of the Hiace van and after we did the upper and lower ball joints the over drive light on the dash started flashing every now and then and the speedo stopped working full time, The sensor on the passenger side hub has fell apart and a new one is £160 , As there are only 2 wires i was wondering is something else from the Toyota range might fit has anyone had any dealing with this problem, The granvia forums seem to have gone, It seems expensive for 2 feet of wire and a sensor.

the main difference with these items is just the length of the cable.....
usually the elec connector socket/plug will be the same across the range of vehicles....
can't say I've seen a different hub fitting, all much of a muchness ...
OBVIOUSLY the length of the sencer probe might change depending on hub but I'd bet they won't change much if at all across the range...
so look for one with a similar length and of u go....
now if the cable is longer I'd be just making some tight loops somewhere outta the way and secure with mini cable ties......
REMEMBER it has to look neat (MOT) and not get caught up.....
wouldn't advise cutting and joining a longer cable....
of course u may've to reuse the old wire mounting brackets but easy peasy....

I'm be ringing a jap breakers . If they haven't got a granvia/hiace in I bet they could tell you if anyThing else will fit .

Im not on facebook but i did see one for the Regius which is pretty much the same motor, I'll get my mate to join it and ask.
