what type of steel that doesn't bend so easily nor becomes brittle when welded.
I'm making some engine casing guards (motorbike)
I have bought some old ones,currently the original are 3mm x 25mm wide,look a bit weak.
and it has been welded where it has broken etc.
so I need some thing stronger other than going for thicker materials.
