I've been looking for a film, cant find it for sale anywhere, best i can find is on TorrentReactor

Whats a torrent...? Seeds, Leechs, trackers.....??

Torrents are just a source of illegal downloads, be careful with that site, macafee site advisor wont even let me view it, some one must have tina goes shopping though,

They generally work fine Hitch but in my experience they're a PITA to get going right and pretty slow once they are. Although the Torrent technology is perfectly legal using it to copy films is obviously not! Perhaps this is one best discussed by PM or in the chat room?

I would avoid yes, a friend of mine is always downloading stuff of these type of sites, he seems to be permanently having virus or adware problems, occasionally he has given me software, I scan it on an old stand alone laptop its always infected,
If thats the film your looking for, it apparently has never been released on DVD, so the best you'll get is a tv recording.

As previously stated torrents are a legal download mechanism, check any Linux vendor for their reasoning for using it as the primary distribution channel. It is the content of the download that causes the problem, due to the negative press from BPI, RIAA etc most ISP's heavily throttle p2p traffic negating it to a crawl.

Depends on what your downloading as to the likelyhood of infection. A standalone box is a good idea due to the time taken.
Otherwise run using a program such as sandboxie. As it only works within a sandboxed section of your hard disk.

I use torrents, i Have downloaded about 5TB and Uploaded more probably, sometimes things have virus's, however thats what a virus checker is for, I have never had any down time from this, stand alone PC is pointless and expensive.

Mcafee, norton and all that ****, are rubbish, worse than virus's
