Hi all, my first foray into the forum and in need of a little advice. I'm hoping to convert my old permanent fixed torch to a euro, I'd been limping along with the usual wire feed issues until the crimped end broke in two. The one thing that put me off converting was that there is only one thin wire that comes from the trigger and not two as I've seen euro torched sets use, now with the end split I decided to peel away at the insulation and found the second wire for the trigger is actually patched into the main current core.
I've attached an image showing what I mean, having googled and been bamboozled with differing opinions I've stripped the set and found the following,
The gas solenoid is wired into one of the main transformer and from what I can gather it works when the transformer is fired by the torch trigger.
Am I correct in thinking I'll just I'll just connect one of the euro wires and patch the other wire into the main torch contact?
sorry if this reads confused, it probably much easier than I make it sound
Cheers
Paul
