Torch body thread

Could do with getting a tap to restore the body of a couple of torches....perfectly alright otherwise, bar the threads.
Where the collet body and back caps screw in....
3/8" x 32tpi from memory. But what thread is it exactly?
Obviously not UNC, Finer than UNF, Not a BSP.....

They arnt the best quality but ok for re threading. I don't think they are part of a particular thread series, unless it's something like bs cycle where the pitch remains constant through the range.

As Gordan they're part of the unified thread series, UNEF/unified extra fine. 17/18/26 are all 3/8" 32tpi but the smaller 9/20 torches are regular UNF, 5/16" x 24tpi

Cheers men. Will get one ordered up. Quality isn't overly important as its just cleaning up existing threads in copper.
