Torch Attachments Missing/ Wrong?

My tig torch already came with a gas lens kit which fits the torch fine
I wanted to try the normal? attachments that also came with it but something must be missing or wrong for the torch type I have?
Pics below hopefully show its not possible to add the white insulator as the normal skinny collet screws up too far inside the torch body, meaning the cup then does not thread on?
Can someone point us in the right direction of the correct parts required so I can try the normal attachments

It looks like it needs a standard type heat shield, like the one on the bottom of this page

Or maybe the heat shield can be turned around.

Third picture top left hand corner, looks like the part you need, should be quite a tight push fit onto the torch

That might do it if they are very thin?
The 4 "top hat" tyre I have do not work either way around as too thick

Cheers but that's way too thick and is for the gas lens attachment

Your pictures are not very clear, but this is a WP17 gas lens set up, and the assembly of a standard torch can be found in the FAQ, http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/wiki/The_Basic_TIG_Torch

The gas lens should be using two not one, the dirty part is the part you have pictures of attempting to assemble the torch

Have ordered a std heat shield attachment
