i have just brought a euro mig torch but i have been told i also need a mig gas solenoid but how to i connect this to the current wires ??????????????????

If it's a mains solenoid valve connect it to the output of the contactor, the same wires that go to the power selector switch.

The gas solenoid was fixed inside the casing. Well, it was when I converted my old sip. Didn't replace anything other than the torch.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE SAFE WORKING ON MAINS VOLATGE WHEN DOING THIS.
IF this is the diagram for yours then meter the pins on pcb plug checking for 240v as shown bottom left (if it's a 240V valve you get) as per RTBCOMP has said.
IF it's a 24V valve you get then meter for the 18 to 24ish voltage if you have it then attach as per the top right of pic.
