Here's a guy making wood planes at over 3K a pop, absolutely beautiful work but I think I'll stick to Clifton or second hand Stanley's with a better blade and iron.
there is no way that those planes are worth what he is asking, sure they look well made but what can they do that a Record or Stanley can't and after a while they will only be as good as the guy that sharpens the blade like all planes

What the scooby is that! Add wireing that to the list I take it
I got myself a woman and am still paying for her![]()
Not that I'm suggesting that they're soul and blood sucking Harpie's mind....
Actually, I'd like a 3d printer! Amazing bit of kit.
What is that, a water jet or laser cutting machine???

thinkingI looked at getting a 3D printer for my business towards the end of last year. Thing is they are getting so cheap I looked at the service I could provide and came to the conclusion there isn't much time left in making decent money from it anymore.
I was thinking a 3d printer would be great for making un obtainable plastic classic car parts.
All those little bits and bobs you can't get new and are difficult 2nd hand and have perished on the car due to time and sunlight. Interior light fittings for example. I can't see an individual buying one of these to make one or two parts.

I covet a decent Bridgeport with power feed and DRO, a surface grinder and more than anything else the space to keep them in.
