Tool for making notches in UB & PFC

Hi,
I don’t do much steelwork but am interested in what you guys use to make notches in structural steel.
I just broke my jigsaw trying to notch some 150x75 PFC.
Is there a chordless tool which would make accurate notches.?
Also, what medium do you use for marking out.?
I used the blue stuff in the past but it isn’t sold by Screwfix or Toolstation.

Angle grinder with a slitting disc or a porta-band style bandsaw. Bandsaw is my preference if I can get it in.
For rough cuts, I mark with an inkzall and a square, for more accuracy scribble on it with a sharpie for contrast and then scribe a line.
Be aware if you intend to paint it and its on show, sharpie shows through even after you think you got it all off.

Propane torch and a quick clean up with a grinder. Easy to over cut the notches if you're not experienced.

Grinder or cold cut saw. Limited options on the brands that have the saws as cordless.
Both noisey.
