I have some blast soda...

What is the grain size of your blast media? 8ob's hole is a lot bigger than your own tight 2-3mm offering. It could be worth sieving the media to make sure it will go into the pins. I think the soda is water soluble, so it should not be so much of a problem if a piece gets jammed into a hole.

If pieces of soda get jammed a blast with a blow gun shifts it. Quickest way I have found to clean corroded terminals . I would advise a bit of Connector Protector grease after cleaning. If soda blasting destroys the terminals then any other method of cleaning would.
