I'd like a set of drawers like the Bisley cabinets, narrow, shallow and plentiful, but I'd prefer the drawers to be on proper runners and not just slides. Is there anything out there I should be looking for?

The only thing I've seen that narrow with bearing runners are the side cabinets for roll cabs. Like this for example.

Wondered about a top box for a cabinet they can be had with 12 small drawers on Ball bearings but overall wide rather than tall slim.

Something like the Clarke 8 drawer side cabinet might be a better bet, as it only has one large drawer at the bottom and the rest are all shallower ones.
Any reason not to go for a bisley - if you are not overloading the drawers they tend to slide OK, and anything else is likely to be very expensive.

I've got a side cabinet similar to the one pictured, it's what prompted my train of thought. My dislike of the Bisley cabinets is that the drawers don't slide as nicely as bearinged ones. Very trivial I know. If I have to buy something I'd like to buy what I want rather what'll do, I've already got one of those.

I've just had a look in Polstore catalogue I've been drooling over for the last 5yrs. It looks like the narrowest drawers they do is just under 600mm

depending on what range you buy from , they can have excellent rollers ,, the cheap models dont though.

We have some Bott narrow drawers at work but to be honest they are not worth the extra over the Bisleys, clean and lube the sides should be fine.
Never seen and narrow Listas?

Just chucking it in the pot but I was on a ship years back and in the engine room workshop we had a set of Facom drawers like bisleys.

Very heavy duty. Most of it was Facom as she was originally French built / flagged.

Built in the 70s so proper Facom but it’s worth a search online.
