Im sure this ones been up before, but here goes, my old top box has rattled round for too long in the truck, so I'm looking for a tough largish top box to replace it, value for money so no suggestions of snap on or like....

I've had a Talco top box for nearly 20 years, still going strong - don't know what today's prices are like though.

The clarke HD ones are pretty good VFM Snowy.

Ive been happy with the two i have had, although the one from 10 years ago was slightly better quality. Mind you, same box, same price 10 years later.... so what can you expect!

Talco seem pretty good aswell, price comparable to clarke HD.
Some teng ones here, feel pretty good when i looked at them a while back.

Il have a look at the clarke ones and the talco, the tengs are the same as my last two, TBH there a bit on the small size......and the last was pretty poor compaired with the first......

The Clarke ones are very good, I would like two of their extra wide cabinets when I get the extension on the workshop done. Not sure I could justify the price though as I was given 6 9draw cabinets from Halfords (prototypes made by Snap-on) about 8yrs ago, in payment for some consulting I did for them. Nice roller cabinets, but I'd like common tools to be in the same draw, with the Clarke's been wider would allow me to do
