a quick and cheap way to get an arbor is buy or scrounge a burnt out angle grinder i got one nearly new for a fiver just use the head of it and remove the gear wheel and it fits strait in to a half inch chuck .it takes all popular size disks and threaded for polishing mops and cup wire wheels ect

good idea and best of all cheap or even free if you have a dead angle grinder.

It just so happens I have a melted grinder waiting to go in the bin so some of it will now be recycled into something useful, thanks for the idea.
