Tongue and groove panel board?

I do wonder what would happen in a fire with this stuff? A mate did his whole house in it - then used gallons of yacht varnish. Looked like a Swedish sauna. But imagine a fire!

I think the sofa and all the plastic goods will get you first. MDF although it burns is no worse than a modern timber frame home etc. Then again think of all them MDF or celuka window bottoms.

It makes you wonder about all the building regs.
UPVC windows don't help either.

Upvc to be fair is quite good it's just when it does finally burn its nasty fumes and melty sticky stuff.
