My new to me ductor.
As it came from ebay auction-
Once I used it and made sure it was operational I gave it a thorough clean and replaced the threadbare coil insulation.
Much better.
Just the flexi cable left to refurbish then I'll have a good complete set ready for work.

Is it a Ductor or an Inductor ive only really heard them referred to by the latter , whats the correct term ?

Both.
Its an induction type heater. The trade term "Ductor" is written on the side of this unit as an induction solutions term who make these particular units in USA.

Overhauled my good Air Impact Gun this evening, and can safely say that it wasn't an improvement.
The O-rings were pre-assembled onto the reversing valve in the service kit upside down, and rather than reading the service manual, I just blindly swapped the parts meaning that when I had finished:
1) it wouldn't work.
2) after I finally traced the issue the only possible disassembly method would destroy several new parts, as the mechanism was stuck.
I am quite annoyed, with both the parts supplier and myself.
To add insult to injury the only genuine parts kit I can find now is £170, at which point I might as well buy a bloody new one...

My parts washer. I drained the tank and flushed it out. Wow was there some nasty oil sludge at the bottom of the tank!
Refilled it and dumped in screwfix no nonsense degreaser. (Approx 3L into 20L of water) seems strong enough at that ratio and I got to cleaning some auto transmission parts with the nice fresh tank.
Problem is during the job I hurled myself off my garage doorstep
Sprained my ankle pretty bad will see how bad it gets but I know it won't be good that's for sure.

An oil change and adjusted the brakes on the old Mini in advance of a car show tomorrow.
Decided after a couple of weeks of no rain and decent temps, today being pretty hot too, there wasn't going to be a better time to inspect the hollow bits of my Lancia and top up the anti-corrosion waxes. Pleased to say I couldn't see any indication the previous application of waxes was failing internally, so applied another thin mist of solar heated waxes using my pressurised gun. Leaving the gun and waxes in the greenhouse between removing trim, moving the car etc, soon warmed it up.
Annoyingly found a failing bit of seam sealer on the front edge of the passenger door, so that will be coming off soon to be sorted out.
Greenhouse also provided a nice heated place for the tyre with the sidewall repair (off-road trialling competition only) to be left under clamp pressure for the vulcanising cement to do it's thing.

1964? About the time Mini were fitted with twin leading shoe brakes , a stronger crankshaft nose and a few other mods on the previous cars

June 1963. Originally 14 LAO but had its original number transferred in the mid '90s unfortunately and ending up with an age related A suffix plate.
It still has the single leading shoe front brakes (not very stoppy), narrow tail crank with coil springs on the clutch, dry rubber suspension. Pretty much original apart from having seat belts fitted. Won its class at the show today.

My first car was a 63 registered Mini but I think it was an earlier car , as when I first got it it had a matching engine number but it still had the very early flywheel that had an oil seal to stop the oil fed primary gear leaking oil onto the clutch , also had the 4 blade metal fan and one piece fan housing that meant it was an engine out job to fit a water pump , which was only ever fitted for the first year of production . On rebuilding the engine I was given a Diva bush conversion kit that had a self lubricating primary gear and a tapered pin that was hammered into the oil feed for the primary gear to block it off. The rear radius arms had a conduit for the handbrake cables IIRC.?

My Panama Hat, forgot I'd left it rolled up in my carry on and it picked up some weird creases.
No after photo, as it's currently on my head to ensure that it takes the right shape as it cools down again.
It's not of very good quality, and had a hard life even before I bought it secondhand in a Ugandan market.
But it's my hat, so I persist in steaming out the creases and reshaping it...
Despite the fact I could very easily ask one of my Ecuadorian colleagues to pick me up a far better one that would object far less to being rolled, for a very reasonable price.

My new to me 15 year old roll cab. I was working against the heavy rain forecast for all day tomorrow. So tonight after work I removed all the drawers and washed them and dried inside and out.
Then carefully wiped any old grease out of all the rails and applied fresh grease then put all back together. Took hours but worth it!

All back together know and tomorrow I plan on giving the outside a good machine buff and wax then cut new replacement rubber drawer liners.

I bought this to line the drawers on my toolbox that had the liners missing or torn. Mainly because it was the exact right width for the drawers but it was also so cheap that even if it was rubbish it didn't matter.
It's not as good as decent ribbed rubber sheet but a lot better than what the manufacturer uses and I'd use it again.
