A FBMP spot, and it looked good - so I went for it and messaged. I was first in (several after me) and went straight after work and bought it.
I confess its decidedly a luxury item for my occasional use - but what do you think.....
ESAB Savage A40 Air-Fed Mask, complete with the Respirator kit, Carry Bag etc. Never been used - still has the stickers on the visor. AFAIK all the kit is complete - manual, charger, battery, spare lens, spare filter - all as new.
I believe the latest A41 kit version is pushing £675???
No idea what this is truly worth btw, but I went for it (seller a retired Welder/Fabber who I suspect might have got it from his workplace who supplied it to him - I didn't ask details).
Thoughts on the kit (I know ESAB is supposed to be proper kit - but that's about it. Is it good stuff?
(I have mild asthma & have made myself a bit iffy with fumes a couple of times, & it ought to be better than any regular mask I've had to-date.... so I took the plunge)
