While working on my exceedingly ancient cement mixer I removed the exhaust and discovered it was full of oily carbon.
A cunning plan came about.
Stick the really cruddy end in the fire as it is just 2 foot of 1" pipe. That will getting burn some of the carbon out.
So stuck it in the fire and ten minutes later smoke starts coming out of the end.
Quickly I take it out of the fire take it to the door and shove the air blower up it to get rid of the smoke.
A few sparks then a pop.
Quickly follow by a bright white flame and a unearthly scream and the whole exhaust starting to glow.
Of course any sane person would stop blowing air.
I didn't
Certainly a quick way of cleaning out an exhaust
