I've been restoring a motorcyclr petrol tank using good old cellulose paint. Rather than the usual flatting and final polishing routine to acheive the final gloss, I've got some Autocolor Belco P190-478, which is a compatible 1K clearcoat that is applied un-thinned i.e. just tip it in the gun and go.
Anyhow, my question is this. Is it now too cold/humid to srpay in my unheated garage? If I use a convector heater to bring the temp up a bit, and choose a day when the humidity is low, will all be well. After all, this clear will be getting a good buffing in the final stage.
I don't really want to wait right through til next spring to complete this tank - on the other hand, I don't want to end up with a bloom in the clear coat that will not polish out. What to do
regards
Steve
