Due to the recent great weather we are having finally got around to using an old pool slide that I salvaged from the tip a couple of years ago.
Made a set of steps from 50 x 30 box offcuts and a support using 44mm tube. The jets were M10 button head stainless bolts with a 6mm hole bored through the middle a T piece and an old garden tap as a regulator to adjust the flow of water. Cut a piece of plastic sheet to save the grass and hey presto a water slide to keep the kids (and myself) amused for the rest of the holidays they were complaning it was not fast enough so applied some bees wax for wood and they were soon reaching the bottom of the garden also with the help of some fairy washing up liquid.
