Time to sell up and fly off

Selling up and flying back over to australia hopefully this month!
Spent most of 2008 over in Australia doing a bit of traveling and working, done some pruning work on a few vine yards in margaret river when we first arrived! such a nice place, anyone who has been will know!

We then spent a month driving up the west coast doing a bit of 4x4ing on the way! (would never have seen what we did if we had a car).
We ended up getting a job in Karratha weldingand shutdowns!
Left after my first year was up and flew home and started upon my own!

I'v been offered my job back over there and its to good to turn down!

Done pretty well since i started up but things have been quiet the last few months and its an offer that i cant turn down!!

kind of sad to have to sell my lincoln ranger and all my gear but there is no point in it all sitting here doing nothing while im over there! so its up on ebay!!

iv never liked being an employee but iv got to say its by far the best place ive worked and a sound group of folk!!

my wife understandably wont move there(to old now) and leave the lads behind etc.

Cheers! yeh cant wait to get back over think iv had withdrawel symptoms since i left just a different way of life (less stress for a start)
this is me onto my second year visa! going to try for sponsership this time!

only downside is im going to melt when i get back

ont take the paypal option Adam, wont they shaft you on the withdraw to bank? and if your not registered they will hold you money for ages as they try to work out if your laundering, 2 years of transactions with them and the first big one I got they locked the account ....

if you go for splitting I might be interested in the chop saw

be aware that if you remove the paypal option,that you`re item can actually be removed from ebay,as technically (as they tell me) you can`t refuse a secure payment option. it`s wrong i know but i`ve had it happen to me on more than one occasion.
much better option is to state that paypal is ok provided that the buyer pays any fees,and if the item(s) are collection anyway,they tend to go for the cash on collection anyway.

Good luck in Australia. One of the lads i worrked with moved there. His skills as agricultural engineer/welder fabricator gained him a lot of points apprently.

Yeh they just cant seem to get enough welders out there at the moment! Was on the phone to my mate whos went back out just b4 christmas and he was saying that there are alot of new projects just kicking off! few mine expansions. Going to try goin the sponsership route first.
