Hi all, another project..! I made a tig pen, which helped my bad tigging a lot, but as I do a lot of stainless work it's often easier to use mig wire.
Has anyone made a wire feed gun on here? I know you can buy stand alone units, but they aren't cheap and where's the fun in buying one??
I intend to make a mig style torch and feeder strictly for my tig, I haven't decided whether to make it just a handheld unit which i could hang maybe 2 metres of wire from, or an enclosure for a complete reel. I like the handheld idea as it is less to hump around if I stray from my workshop..
Anyone seen any similar projects on here???
