Tig welding advice

Hi looking to do some big welding on some car panels which are about 1-1.2mm thick mild steel. What tungsten tip and filler rod size would be the best option?

Any advice would be great thanks

1.6mm red tipped tungsten and 1mm A15 filler rod should do nicely.

Car panels are often less than 1mm. You will struggle if the fit up is anything less than perfect. Mig is what you really need dependant on skill level. And 1.6mm thoriated tungsten and 1mm a15 or a18 filler.
