i have a ac dc tig i want to upgrade to a welder to a 200amp+ with up slope, down slope hf start and pluse any idea on want machine to get would be great thanks
I went with an r tech with that sort of budget and get on really well with it, main reason i went with one of them instead of a s/h machine was that i would get a warranty with it. Touch wood, not had to use it, but nice to know its there! They also told me that parts would be available for at least 10 years so should anything break at least i know i'll br able to get the parts and not just have to scrap the machine which i consider i have spent quite a lot of money on
with that budget you can get an R-tech tig 201 AC/DC which will not dissapoint has all the specs you listed and more, i have one and its a top bit of kit, fitted to a 32amp c type breaker never had a problem on full bore on both tig and mma modes
