I will soon be looking for a tig setup to go with my IFL MA 160. I've looked at the IFL tig kits and they seem a bit pricey, so I think I may source my own.
I know I shall need a GP17v (scratch start) but could do with some advise, what is the best or easiest to use, seperate cable and gas feed in a zipper cover, sounds quite heavey, or a mono cable with a dinse gas adaptor? Also there seem to be a lot of GP17 type torches, from Weldcraft to cheap Chinese, the question is are the torch fittings ie threads the same? would most parts sold as 'GP17' torch be interchangeable?
Thanks in advance.
Chris.
