Hi... Do you have a few pictures on how your plasma cutter cut's?
Do one positively ground a plasma cutter?
I know DC Tig welders are Positively grounded... (Makes the filler rod sink into the welding surface rather than sitting on your tungsten. Better Penetration)

Hi wildcat, Did you get your machine? if so how is it performing?
I got it today.
Stick and Tig have been tested on 115V and work awsome. Have to get my compressor out of storage so I can test the plasma. Have had great communications with Phil at Parker metalworks. When I was wondering what was taking so long he got on the phone right away and tried to track it down. Turns out it was stuck in customs. Brokerage fees were $77 CAD.
PS. Switching from 110V to 220V only requires the different plug. No switches to flip or wires to re route. Just plug and play.
So far I'm verry happy.

Nice!!! So what do you think about the Tig welder?
I am sure the Plasma cutter will be nice but not a lot of people say a lot about the TIG...

Okay keep in mind that I've only touched a tig once before and it was a nice water cooled unit.
The quality of the torch isn't the same as a nice water cooled unit obviously but it feels solid. All the parts fit snug and seem to be well put together. The only part that seems like it may need replacing is the finger trigger. It just doesn't seem very rugged. I'll probably go to a foot pedal anyhow. This is only a DC tig so aluminum is out of the question.
I started the arc at about 1/16 " and was able to fuse 1/4" plates (had no filler rod) and create a decent bead. I then lifted the torch and was able to maintain a decent (non wandering and able to fuse) arc til just under 1/4".
Unfortunatly that will be the only test of the Tig function until I move because I only borrowed the argon and have returned the bottle but I will be tigging again in the fall and will post pics for the tig gods to critique. If you have any specefic test that you would like to see. Let me know and when I get more gas I'll post the pics.

Okay update on the plasma. AWSOME! Makes life so much easier. Only have about an hour of cut time but what fun.
