tig inverter but melting tungsten not work peice

as title really have been tig welding at work for 18 years so decided to but a inverter for those little home jobs but upon first practice it just melts the tungsten into a ball any idears im using 2.4 mm tung boc gas and cebora 1325 inverter many thanks
