does anyone know of an AFFORDABLE tig course in or around gloucestershire?
im based in Cheltenham and im looking for a beginners course,I dont mind travelling up to 30 miles or so, cheers
Night school mate! Even though the courses started in September they might let you on as a number of people drop off in the first couple of weeks. It'll cost you about £90 for the year regardless of what type of welding you do.
Other than that, private training centres run courses for about £1000 a week
(sod that!!!). Hope this helps.
Look up Holme Lacy College in Herefordshire, they are a blacksmithing college and run a selection of welding courses, part time in the day and night classes. Ricasso probably just within your 30 mile radius.
If you take one there drop me a line, you wil be going right past my door on your way in.
many thanks for everyone's good advice, ive been digging a bit deeper and found a set of course's at the Royal Ag College in Cirencester, about 10/15 miles away from me and sensibly priced, so I think i'll be going for this option, thanks once again.
no probs, check out the rural skills centre at the royal ag college, you will find a set of courses, i believe there around £115 each, contact them and they will email you a form wich you then print off, fill out,and send back,i think there next basic course is at the end of april though they have others for intermediate etc, hope this helps
