So long story short.
Bought r tech 160dc to learn tig 20months ago.
Bought parweld xtt202p to learn alloy.
Then recently bought jasic 200p to upgrade the r tech.
The r tech was a good machine but never felt quite good enough. Arc was always a little bit unstable and wondering compared to the parweld so looked for an upgrade.
So had a little job today so thought I would do a back to back test between the parweld and the jasic.
Same materials, same gas, same tungsten 1.6mm grey.
To me the final results of the welders are similar. I would recommend them both as ideal machines if you are looking for decent budget-midrange branded machines.
The jasic I think just had the edge over the parweld but I'm not going to be dis heartened with either. Only thing worth noting is I feel the amps on the jasic are slightly colder than parweld amps if that makes sence. (Could have done with extra 5 or so on each)
I am not a professional welder either. Probably only done 15hrs of tig or so also.
The r tech on the other hand now will be going up for sale.
Pictures are below.
