I've had my old heap for a few years now, it's been sat around for a while so I thought it was about time to tidy it up and give it some TLC.
The front wheel inner arches where getting a bit holey so I cut out the rot and welded in some patches.
The rear passenger door pillar was very rotten around the door latch pin, so I cut out a Discovery one and welded that in place.
The next plan I think will be to look at taking the rear windows out of the doors and welding a panel over to turn it into a van (I've taken the rear seats out already).
Then after that I'll be making a new rear bumper from some 5mm plate incorporating a swing out wheel carrier and also an internal mesh barrier to stop anything comming into the front.
