Three piece sofa covers

I am getting really annoyed with my 3 piece sofa.
It's relatively new so buying another is not a sensible option. But it's leather. The shiny slippy leather not suede type leather, so it's horrible and cold especially in the morning.
Anyway I purchased a stretch cover. It's never fitted properly but today after washing it again I noticed the seams are not symmetrical, no matter which way its fitted.

So would like to get a better one.
One of the issues is the stretchy one does not follow the seat but goes from the top of the back to the top of the front like a hammock/trampoline.
When the cushions are put on it sort of takes shape but the grandkids always knock cushions off and it pulls up from the seats.

Obviously images fron sellers can be misleading. The one I purchased looked good in photos. In fact tucked into the rear of the seats it looks OK until anyone sits down and it releases again.

This sofa does not have loose seats or backs so a 6 or 7 piece set is not an option. I really need a "fitted" style but not wanting to pay a fortune.
I wondered if any members had encountered the same problem?

just put a large throw over it ?

we have real leather sofa dont find it to hot in the summer but our front room is north facing

and its not to cold in winter as i wear clothes

Throws just fall off especially as its shiny leather.

Worked in the furniture trade for years, I had a leather three piece suite, but will never buy another. Fabric way better in this country.
There are several different types of leather too, and most shiny ones are not quite what you think.

Regarding covers though, I think they only really work on fabric unless they can be fixed somehow.

It takes a while for a new leather sofa to soften up & bed in. Try treating the leather with one of the creams, it will soften the leather & make it less slippy & more comfy. What's the point in buying a leather sofa just to put some cheap looking bad fitting loose covers on it.

I have had it 3 years now.
I have never had a shiny leather one before and after getting it found out it was cold and horrible.

I always fancied leather seats in my car, even looked at buying a set from a breakers. Then I got a lift in a mates Disco with full leather interior. I really had to hold on to stop myself sliding out of the seat round corners!

Try hide food for the leather. Our dog likes his spot pre-warmed, i.e. he usually nicks mine when I get up!

Our cat likes this too. When he has judged the spot is warm enough, he will sit and stare at you until you are guilt tripped into moving.
