I was thinking about putting my garage outside sockets on a contactor. Have a Qunetic switch in the house to pull it in etc.

The idea being to deny some burglar type scrote use of the sockets to attack the garage door. Saying that they'd probably bring a cordless whatever or bfo jemmy!

I have a couple of outside sockets, both can be isolated from inside.

I could simply use a douple pole switch inside. I was more thinking hit a Quinetic switch inside the house, contactor energises in the garage via a Quinetic receiver and power flows to the sockets. Maybe have a neon at the garage window that I can see from the house.
