How does the die head pick up the same thread for the second fine cut.
lovely lathe but it wants a week with some parafin and a rag and then some oil!

Plug boards... Used to go wrong at the end of eastenders due to being a voltage drop so you switched off until things went back to normalI enjoyed that. Decent video. Plug boards, blimey don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those.

Unfortunately they don’t teach this at school anymore. I took Design and Technology and hated It because it was like all my other classes, based on books and there was no technical drawing, no learning about actual engineering, we made crap from balsa wood.
everything I’ve learnt has been self taught from books or online.
yea, we cast Aluminium in our nylon trousers,nylon shirts and acrylic jumpers with just a leather apron and a pair of goggles for PPE! We did Tech drawing with wooden Tsquares and set squares ...wish I could do CAD now ...been trying to learn myself but its difficult to find good online tutorials!
