I decided my workbench was on the wrong side of the garage, so I'm building a new one and am building in my tool cabinets underneath. Overall it will be 600mm deep approx 4000mm wide. I'll put a wooden top on it - around 40mm of ply double thick
If I decided to cover it with steel to make it a bit more durable, what thickness should I be thinking about, and what's a reasonable price to get someone with a decent guillotine and press brake to cut a sheet and fold me an edge on it?
