thoughts on venting a on suite

Our ensuite fan ducting goes up in to the loft and I think that cold air falls down the duct when the fan is off. It might be made worse when the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.

I'm looking at fitting a one way valve. Maybe something to consider?

ok job done a couple weeks ago i installed and left it for him to get wired up (he had that sorted) all working well

had a text this morning all last night they had a banging he was woundering what it was all last night after a bit of searching he put it down to the new fan in the loft installed

to behonest when i put it in the flap was weedy at best i know it the movement of the air what needs to open it but even if you tiped it just off center the flaps open the springs where near useless

any ideas

there a good fan is the flap built in to the fan on that I cant remember ?? you can get inline backdraught shutters for them separate https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_...313&_nkw=4ich++backdraught+shutters+&_sacat=0 don't know how effective it will be . depends on how much draught is going through the house

sorry for latre reply yes the flaps are on the out let of the fan

the house is fair not much air movment apart from the trikle vents in the middle of the night

the flats as said was very weedy im thinking go back to screww fix and hope i get a better unit

but from looking online the problem could half be air flowing passed the out let producing a negative pressure in the pipe thast makes the flap open as the wind drops the flaps close ?
