A guy I know recently bought a 3-phase TIG for the workshop. I had reccomended to him to get some tuition on setup and basics etc (he has a MIG and stick welder already). He did agree and I asked a guy I knew to come along and give him an afternoon's basics.
Anyway, curiosity got the better of him and he decided to 'have a go and see what happens'. I walked in on him just as he was setting it up. He had the flowmeter on upside-down, and a full length of ally filler rod fitted into the tig torch
