Hello,

Has anybody done a repair on one of these?

It makes a noise as the engine runs but gives out no air, i'd rather repair and keep a tool for as long as i can than just keep spending £££ that i don't have.

I have used this little gen for all sorts, it's not great but did the job....lol.

that type of compressor has a fixed "piston" to the con-rod, so the piston rocks slightly as it travels up and down. no piston rings,usually just a plastic type washer, a bit like a bike pump in operation,So really you only have the valves and piston to check out.As far as I can remember they do not sell a new piston washer,but they will sell a complete rod,piston assembly sometimes.
My son has a big waste oil burner in an out-house to run his central heating,it needs a compressed air supply to the burner and he got through a few of these before switching to a Hydrovane,
