I have decided to sell the car i have always wanted for years and got only a year or so ago. selling due to my licence being revoked due to sight loss. had just morons first few weeks, now i reduced price and got a few more actual viewings arranged.

First one, he came liked it after he removed an arch shiled which he damaged them went for a drive and messed with the super select 4x4 ( shogun 3.2DID ) driving it in 4llc and 4llh aswell as all setting.

now there is a fault light on the 4x4 settings on the dash. for the life can i get it to go off, so now i will need to check the solenoids and see if one is jammed. Not and small job either.

FFS why me again.

he messed me about aswell for a week to drop price and then he had the money then not.

mite let it sit there now and live in hope i can see enough again to get my licence back.

I had it years ago , put a car on eBay , spares or repairs . Got to £120 one guy then said he wanted to come and view it , did so , he had bid the 120 , then started trying to haggle for 80 and I said no as he had already bid 120 and I’d have to pay the feees on that . He Began to p1$$ me off , picking fault , for a £120 mint car in reality … got so fed up after half an hour told him to do one . He then offered £150 , and I told him I wouldn’t sell it to him if my life depended on it and went back in the house ..

Some people just try it on all the time .

No idea if its the same but on my Disco you just reversed it for 100 yards to get the light to go out

That’s all very well and good but these days most people struggle to reverse into a supermarket parking bay lol

Yes but with Super Select you dont use cd on tarmac as it winds up the transmission. he was a mechainc so for a stat he would either know that or ask how it works.

i tried a few ways, your suggestion being one of them. I will be trying others today to try and unwind the transmission

jack up 2 wheels n/s or o/s then slowly run through the 4x4 in first gear should sort out the wind un in the trans

well a naff weekend ended well, sorted the locked transmission and just sold it all in one day.

it took some doing to unlock it, stuck it in 4hllc and gave it a few, well a good few hard reversing and bit by bit it all came back

just to sell my trailer now

As long as you keep the wheels straight you can put it in to and out of difflock on a hard surface.

But yes they should have known this or asked about it.

If its anything like my Mitsubishi there'll be a label explaining it all somewhere quite visible.

this was a pillock who was viewing to buy who had no clue and didnt ask. when in CDL thye cant be used on tarmac. yes in a straight line maybe but then there are corners to go around. o9h needs to be in N to change to CD

I scrapped my subaru last year, it needed a few jobs done to it to get it tested, after costs would have been at best £100-150 better off selling private than selling to car take back, couldnt be doing with the hassle for a few ££ extra.

Its hard to say as hospitals have been useless with helping on what thye can or will do. been three times and they fobbed me off to the next person to answer my Q`s. What i have found though is that there is an Op they can do but unlikely due to the damage already done, and it mite or mite not clear up, been three months now and no change, some folk it hasnt cleared some months or years. who bloody knows kida. head has been up my backside for months now but getting used to it. i need test to pass to gte my ,licecne back but i cant even see a reg plate from 10m never mind 20m.

Boat is going nowhere, its my only sanity

had the haemarage in my good eye, and can only see blurryness and black floaters, night time and bright lights even worse. the now good eye is ok for reading with new reading glasses but not good at long distance, had glasses for a few years now aswell. just got a new pair last week and no better.the other eye

Have you asked to try distance glasses for the good eye, you only need one capable eye to pass

Thats what i have done, got them last week. still no better. the first thing is thye check your distance so a car reg plate at 20m, i can just see one at 10m. if i use both eyes then the blurryness cover half the other eye. one eye still not good enough.
