When my toes curl up and I depart this mortal coil, my solitary female offspring will have to sort out my 2 sheds full off such gems. I don't have masses of stuff, but it's all quite hefty. A small lathe, drill press, couple of welders, dozens of man size turning tools I've kept for 40 years.... and boxes of 'useful' engine/car/diy type stuff. I'm sure her only options will be to contact the local scrappies.

I have no friends she could contact. I don't 'do' people any more.

And therefore I'm currently investing my remaining faculties/facilities in yet another bland project.......

Hi

I used to find all manner of stuff in the scrap bin that was outside the maintenance dept, Contractors had dropped this Bosch drill in, I tried it expecting it to be kaput but it works fine!, I reckon they had been issued with cordless drills!

It came with the front grip fitted which is in my garage somewehere now!!

I also found two Worx batteries and fast charger in the bin too, I charged the batteries up but they were almost fully charged anyhow, I put them in my cupbard at work for two years then found them again, The charge had dropped minimally in those two years (Four lights still lit), Ten mins and they were fully chared again so I did some research and found the drill type that fitted them, Won the actual drill for £20 and the case for £8 also on the bay!, Have to say, This is the best batrttery dril i've ever had!, When I asked the fitters why the batties and charger were binned, They had destroyed when someone ran over it with the flt!!

A large part for one of the machines at work was delivered on a massive pallet, I saved the pallet from going in the rubbish to make a base for my new tin shed!!

It hides under trees at the very bottom of the garden!, Almost built here..

Another day I found hundreds of drill bits in the bin at work so I liberated those too, They filled a Quality Street tin making it hard to pick up due to weight, Many hadn't even been used, Turned out we had VIP's visiting so the benches were cleared straight in to the bin!!
