Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 10

Hi all

Has anyone used a Cutmaster 10. If so how was it and can this machine be run off of a single phase 16amp socket.

Also are these machines as good as Hypertherm plasma cutters ?

It will run off 16a supply. As good as a Hypertherm ? Nothing is!!!

It would appear that hypertherm is the rolls royce of plasma cutters.

When I was dithering between buying a Cutmaster or a Hypertherm, the technical support from Cutmaster was none existant
I wanted to use the plasma with a CNC Setup and needed to wire into the plasma cutter.
Cutmaster would not give me any wiring information and talked about voiding warranties etc
Hypertherm were the dead opposite and answered all my questions
Hypertherm Plasma's already have a terminal block inside the machine ready for interfacing to a CNC Setup
Hypertherm for me!

hypertherm for me as well. running on 32a supply,had it quite a while now and very happy. tried other makes some look good on paper but don't perform as well in the workshop. hypertherm demoed at my place on my type of work really was impressed blew the others away!!
